Position Summary

The Microsoft 365 Engineer will partner with customers to improve the health, performance, resilience, and adoption of Microsoft 365 environments. This contract/project-based role combines deep Microsoft 365 technical expertise with customer-facing consulting skills to assess tenant health, optimize configurations, improve platform performance, and deliver actionable recommendations aligned with Microsoft best practices.

You will help customers strengthen Microsoft 365 reliability, governance, usage, and operational readiness across Microsoft 365 Apps, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Endpoint Manager, and related cloud connectivity areas. This role will also support preliminary discussions around Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Chat, and Copilot Agent

Responsibilities

• Assess Microsoft 365 tenant health across applications, services, security posture, operational monitoring, and network connectivity.
• Evaluate Microsoft 365 Apps performance, including Office, Teams, and Outlook, and recommend configuration improvements to support reliability and user experience.
• Review network readiness for Microsoft 365 workloads, including bandwidth, latency, routing, and connectivity best practices.
• Analyze usage and adoption metrics to identify gaps, trends, risks, and opportunities to improve customer engagement.
• Provide guidance on governance, compliance, business continuity, operational resilience, and process maturity to strengthen Microsoft 365 platform health.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services and analyze complex tenant, security, and configuration issues.
• Support customer conversations related to AIBS, SharePoint, the Microsoft 365 suite, and preliminary Copilot enablement.
• Deliver professional, customer-facing documentation summarizing health assessments, usage insights, risks, findings, and recommended next steps.
• Partner with technical, executive, and stakeholder audiences to communicate recommendations clearly and drive alignment.
• Support Government, Defense, and Public Sector customer requirements as applicable to the engagement.
• Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.
• Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of relevant experience in Microsoft 365 administration, optimization, cloud solution architecture, technical consulting, or assessment-based delivery engagements.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft 365 Apps, including Office, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience managing and optimizing Microsoft Teams for enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 workloads, including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive for Business.
• Experience supporting network connectivity for cloud services and Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager and device health.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Secure Score, Compliance Manager, and tenant health dashboards.
• Strong ability to interpret usage analytics and design adoption strategies that improve engagement and business value.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 service health, incidents, and operational monitoring.
• Proven experience troubleshooting Microsoft 365 services and analyzing complex tenant and security configurations.
• Experience in business continuity planning, incident response coordination, and process maturity assessments.
• Ability to support preliminary discussions related to Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Chat, and Copilot Agent.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Singapore citizenship required to support Government, Defense, and Public Sector customer engagements.
• No security clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with network performance tuning for Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Familiarity with Entra ID architecture and identity security best practices, including Conditional Access, MFA, and privileged access.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, or SOC 2 Type II in the context of operational resilience.
• Experience supporting customer enablement, usage growth, and adoption strategies for Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience with Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Chat, or Copilot Agent.
