Job summary

MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a facilities maintenance technician in Singapore to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on M&E systems, conduct daily inspections and monitor equipment conditions.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and HVAC equipment, assist in upgrades, maintain records and follow SOPs and safety rules while supporting contractors. Hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, 5.5 days. Teamwork and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E facilities maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance independently.
• Good safety awareness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems and equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections, monitoring and recording of equipment operating conditions.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and building services equipment.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns and rectify to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance on air-conditioning systems, pumps, motors, electrical panels, lighting and other M&E equipment.
• Carry out basic electrical testing, fault finding and equipment performance checks.
• Assist in maintenance and servicing of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems and related HVAC equipment.
• Support contractors and service vendors during inspection, servicing, repair and upgrading works.
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out according to SOPs, safety requirements and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment readings, breakdowns and repair works.
• Respond to building/facility-related complaints and attend to maintenance requests promptly.
• Assist Engineers in facility improvement, upgrading and M&E projects.
• Ensure tools, spare parts and equipment are properly maintained and available for maintenance activities.
• Follow workplace WSH and safety procedures when performing maintenance and repair works.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor or Engineer.

Requirements

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related field.
• Relevant experience in M&E, facilities maintenance or building maintenance is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Able to perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance independently.
• Good safety awareness and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

8:00am-5:00pm (hours will be confirmed during interview)
5.5 days (Monday-Saturday) 8am-5pm on weekdays, 8am-12pm on saturdays
