Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield Singapore is seeking an Assistant Engineer to manage and maintain the building's M&E facilities, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with safety standards. You will monitor day-to-day M&E systems, coordinate with outsourced contractors, and perform on-site inspections.

The role requires a NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/FM Engineering and at least five years FM experience, with familiarity in ACMV and chiller plants.

Qualifications

• Experience with M&E systems, ACMV and chiller systems.
• Minimum 5 years in FM-related roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the building's M&E facilities for reliable operation.
• Oversee day-to-day M&E systems and plan repairs and improvements.
• Develop, implement and review maintenance regimes and processes.
• Supervise outsourced contractors and minimize disruption to operations.
• Attend monthly Employer meetings and be on-site during emergencies when required.
• Carry out daily inspections to ensure site is well maintained.
• Monitor scheduled, breakdown and cyclical maintenance activities.
• Supervise a team on site and ensure defects are promptly addressed.
