Job summary

Worldwide Hotels Management (H) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team in Singapore.

The role covers repairs and general maintenance across M&E, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting, and carpentry, with support for other departments as needed. You will troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance with building and fire safety regulations, and participate in sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant working experience in building M&E maintenance.
• ITE NITEC / Higher NITEC in ACMV, Building services, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with building code of practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs & general maintenance on M&E, plumbing, sanitary, HVAC, electrical/lighting, painting and carpentry.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with building and fire safety regulations.
• Follow established maintenance strategies and company policies for a safe environment.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.
• Communicate maintenance status and issues to supervisors and colleagues.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.
• May use AI-powered productivity tools as required.
• Participate in sustainability efforts and inclusive hiring.

• Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.

• Ensure compliance with building and fire safety regulations.

• Follow established maintenance strategies and company policies for a safe environment.

• Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding maintenance status and issues.

• Perform related ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

• Able to provide support to other departments.

• May require to perform AI-powered workplace productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or other approved AI applications).

• Participate in company's sustainability effort for the environment and being an inclusive employer.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant working experiences in building M&E maintenance.

• ITE NITEC / Higher NITEC in ACMV, Building services, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

• Equipped with experience and knowledge of building code of practices.

• Able to work in a rotating shifts environment.

• Preferably to have hospitality or retail engineering background.

• A team player and the ability to work during weekends and on public holidays.

• Experience using AI-powered workplace productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or other approved AI applications) as an added advantage.
