Job summary

GOLDTECH RESOURCES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in daily checks of M&E equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The role plans, coordinates, and oversees preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems, and enforces safety and housekeeping standards.

You will provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and monitor progress to meet timelines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years related experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to supervise technicians and coordinate tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong safety mindset and WSH awareness.
• Willingness to work shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of technicians in performing daily routine checks of M&E equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all preventive and corrective (breakdown) maintenance activities for M&E systems.
• Ensure proper control, safekeeping, and accountability of tools, equipment, and materials, enforce high standards of housekeeping.
• Enforce compliance with workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, conduct regular safety briefings and inspections.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and decision-making on complex maintenance issues.
• Monitor work progress, allocate manpower effectively, and ensure maintenance tasks are completed within timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation for audit and performance tracking purposes.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of maintenance works.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and system reliability enhancements.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC/ SEC/ Coretrade (or equivalent) in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years related experience
• Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to perform shift work when required.
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
