Job summary

Savills Property Management Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable maintenance professional to oversee M&E systems in our facilities in Singapore. You will supervise electrical, HVAC, fire protection, lifts, pumps and plumbing, ensuring reliable performance and preventive maintenance.

In addition, you will manage term contractors, verify service reports, and ensure compliance with EMA, SCDF and BCA regulations. You will support building inspections and respond to after-hours calls on a rotation basis.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in building maintenance.
• Familiar with building M&E systems and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance: Supervise and oversee all M&E systems, including electrical systems, air-conditioning, fire protection systems, lifts, water pumps, plumbing & sanitary systems.
• Contractor Management: Supervise and monitor term contractors' work performance and ensure work is carried out as per specifications.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations and relevant codes of practice (e.g., EMA, SCDF, BCA). Maintain proper records of M&E maintenance, licenses, equipment inventory and inspection checklists.
• Operations Support: Assist Manager in building inspections and preparation of reports; attend to after-hours emergency calls on a rotational basis; liaise with relevant authorities on M&E matters.

Job Scope / Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance:

   Supervise and oversee all M&E systems, including electrical systems, air-conditioning, fire protection systems, lifts, water pumps, plumbing & sanitary systems.

   Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of M&E installations.

   Attend to and rectify M&E faults, breakdowns and public feedback.

2. Contractor Management:

   Supervise and monitor term contractors' work performance and ensure work is carried out as per specifications.

   Verify contractors' service reports and recommend for payment.

3. Compliance & Documentation:

   Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations and relevant codes of practice (e.g., EMA, SCDF, BCA).

   Maintain proper records of M&E maintenance, licenses, equipment inventory and inspection checklists.

4. Operations Support:

   Assist Manager in building inspections and preparation of reports.

   Attend to after-hours emergency calls on a rotational basis.

   Liaise with relevant authorities on M&E matters.
