Job summary

Equation Technology & Cabling Pte Ltd invites a capable Quantity Surveyor to join our M&E project teams in Singapore. You will assess VO work, measure and price VO claims, and handle monthly progress and final claims for multiple subcontract packages.

You will prepare cost estimates, liaise with consultants and main contractors, and maintain project documentation with accuracy and independence. A professional certificate or degree in QS or engineering is required, with at least three years in

Qualifications

Possess Professional Certificate/NITEC/Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of working experience in M&E construction industry not limited to shopping complexes, hotels, condominiums, office buildings, etc.
Analytical, resourceful, independent, responsibility and able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Able to work independently

Responsibilities

To assess and identify variation order (VO) work for all subcontract packages
To provide support in terms of measurement and pricing on the Mechanical / Electrical contract's VO claim
Must be able to process monthly progress claim and final claim
To attend to all relevant contracts administration and documentation for the project
To work out cost estimation or budgetary cost on Mechanical / Electrical services
To liaise with Consultants/ Main Contractors on VO and progress claims
To liaise with suppliers for quotations
To maintain relevant documentation in an orderly and proper manner
