Job summary

Oneness M&C Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of Electrical, ACMV and Plumbing & Sanitary projects. You will prepare cost estimates, tender submissions, and Bills of Quantities, and review drawings and contract documents.

You will liaise with consultants, main contractors, suppliers and project teams to control costs, assess variations, process progress claims, and maintain meticulous records throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in M&E / MEP Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in Electrical, ACMV, or Plumbing & Sanitary (P&S) works.
• Familiar with tendering, quantity take-off, costing, progress claims, and variation orders.
• Able to read and understand M&E drawings and specifications.
• Good analytical, numerical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender submissions, cost estimates, and quotations for Electrical / ACMV / P&S works.
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents to understand project requirements and scope.
• Perform quantity take-off, measurements, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, including price comparison and costing.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and other commercial documentation.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditure to ensure proper cost control.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Assist in contract administration, including payment certification and final account settlement.
• Attend tender meetings, site meetings, and project discussions when required.
• Maintain proper records of tender, costing, contract, and project documentation.
• Perform other QS-related duties as assigned.
