SMITECH ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on M&E works in Singapore. The role involves preparing progress claims, VO and final accounts for electrical projects, and evaluating variations with clients and subcontractors.

You will read electrical drawings, SLDs and specs to quantify work, review subcontractor quotations, and monitor costs, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with local contracts.

Qualifications

• Must have strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Solid documentation and record-keeping abilities.
• Good reading of drawings and specifications essential.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and submit progress claims, VO, and final accounts for electrical/ M&E works.
• Evaluate and follow up on claims, variations and additional works with clients and subcontractors.
• Carry out quantity take-offs from electrical drawings, SLDs and specifications.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations, progress and variation claims.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance of electrical works.
• Maintain supporting documents and records for claims, VOs and contractual matters.
• Work with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and consultants to resolve commercial issues.
