Job summary

KWONG HUI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a skilled M&E estimator with 5+ years in building services. You will budget, estimate, and prepare cost analyses for electrical systems, coordinate with contractors, and support tendering and contract processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the M&E or building services.
• Willing to learn QS software and apply into works.
• Independent, detail-oriented and able to meet tight schedules.
• Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Well knowledge of estimation and budgeting for the Electrical System.
• Liaise with contractors and engineers regarding overall services.
• Liaise with parties on checking drawings and specifications.
• Attend site meetings with owner, consultants and contractors on project operation and coordination.
• Prepare M&E-related information for tendering of new projects.
• Be involved in pre- and post-contract M&E quantity surveys for project site offices.
• Evaluate price comparison and costing summaries.
• Prepare cost estimates based on technical specifications and costing details.
• Perform cost planning, estimation, and quantity measurement for M&E aspects.
• Conduct claims, identify variation orders, and submit cost implications.
• Form sub-contract documents and conditions.
• Prepare settlement for final accounts.
• Maintain relevant project documentation.
• Handle extension of time, loss and expense claims, etc.
• Be responsible for budget and cost controls.
