Job summary

JDA WMS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to oversee mechanical and electrical works on construction projects in Singapore.

The role requires reviewing drawings, coordinating with main contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence. You will prepare M&E coordination drawings, conduct site inspections, and provide technical support to improve efficiency and installation quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, design, installation and coordination.
• Proficiency in M&E AutoCAD and related drafting software.
• Familiarity with main contract and subcontract requirements in construction projects.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for liaising with contractors and project teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on construction projects to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
• Review and interpret M&E drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Work closely with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of M&E works.
• Monitor and manage M&E installation works, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and coordination conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with main contract and subcontract requirements, including technical specifications, contractual obligations, and work progress.
• Prepare and update M&E coordination drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Conduct site inspections and attend coordination meetings to track progress and resolve M&E-related challenges.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to the project team to enhance efficiency and quality of M&E installations.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and submission of M&E-related permits, approvals, and as-built drawings.
