Job summary

JET RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a skilled leader to manage mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on residential projects, from planning through completion.

The role requires coordinating with architects, consultants, main contractors, and authorities to ensure timely, compliant delivery. You will oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, and final handover of M&E systems, while maintaining records and guiding engineers and site staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all mechanical and electrical (M&E) works for residential projects, covering project planning, execution, and completion.
• Examine M&E drawings, technical specifications, shop drawings, and method statements to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Liaise and coordinate with architects, consultants, the main contractor, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Track project progress, workmanship, safety standards, and expenditure to ensure works are completed within the stipulated timeline.
• Ensure all M&E installations meet Singapore's applicable codes, statutory requirements, and project specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, design discrepancies, and site coordination issues.
• Participate in site inspections, technical discussions, and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
• Supervise and manage M&E subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient work execution.
• Evaluate progress claims, variation orders, procurement timelines, and material submissions to support effective project management.
• Oversee inspection procedures, testing, commissioning, and final handover of M&E systems.
• Maintain accurate project records, progress reports, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Assist in project scheduling, manpower planning, risk assessment, and budget management.
• Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures across all M&E activities.
• Provide technical support, professional guidance, and coaching to engineers and site personnel.
