Job summary

LIAN BENG CONSTRUCTION (1988) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced M&E Lead to manage all mechanical and electrical works for a residential project from planning through completion. The role requires reviewing drawings, coordinating with architects, consultants, and the main contractor, and ensuring compliance with Singapore codes.

You will monitor progress, quality, safety, and costs, resolve technical issues, and supervise M&E subcontractors and site teams.

• Experience leading M&E works on residential projects.
• Strong ability to review drawings, specs and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all M&E works from planning to project completion.
• Coordinate M&E with architects, consultants, main contractor and authorities.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety and costs to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure M&E installations comply with Singapore codes and project specs.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and design conflicts on site.
• Attend site and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Supervise M&E subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Review progress claims, variation orders, procurement schedules and material submissions.
• Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning and handover of M&E systems.
• Maintain project documentation including as-built drawings and maintenance records.
• Support planning, resource allocation, risk management and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health policies and provide mentorship to engineers.

• Ensure all M&E installations comply with Singapore codes, statutory regulations, and project specifications.

• Identify and resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and site coordination matters.

• Attend site, technical, and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.

• Manage and supervise M&E subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

• Review and verify progress claims, variation orders, procurement schedules, and material submissions.

• Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.

• Ensure all project documentation, reports, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and maintenance records are properly maintained.

• Support project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and cost control.

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and company safety policies.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and site staff.
