M&E Coordinator

Job summary

Catig Construction is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to supervise and coordinate mechanical and electrical works on construction sites, ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications. You will liaise with project leaders and clients to resolve technical issues and keep schedules on track.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years' experience in main-con projects, preferably HDB.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of working experiences in main-con, preferably in HDB projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications / drawings.
• Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems pertaining to M&E works.
• Supervise the progress of M&E works on site.
• Coordination of sub-contractor's M&E work and ensuring the work is on schedule.
• Work closely to the clients, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
• Supervise and Coordinate M&E services work and work closely with other department staff to meet the project timelines
• Conduct in detailed, M&E coordination with all specialist contractors
• Carry out testing and commission of M&E work; Execute mechanical and electrical works in construction
• Supervise day-to-day site works and manage sub-con/in progress production planning & build.
• Handle the project supervision and documentation
• Manage M&E subcontractors’ submission of method statements, drawings, materials, samples, and work progress

Education

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
