Job summary

Rankine&Hill (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to plan, design, and administer building services projects. You will evaluate tenders, attend progress meetings with clients and consultants, and monitor contractor work on site to ensure conformance with project requirements.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, 1+ year of relevant experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD/BIM.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in an M&E consulting firm is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of design and building projects and relevant codes of practice.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/BIM is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and administer contract/project of mechanical and electrical engineering works for building services.
• Perform tender evaluations and prepare tender evaluation reports.
• Attend technical and progress meetings with client, architects, consultants and contractors.
• Manage the projects and identify any non-conformity of contractor’s work at site.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned.
