Job summary

JUN E MATERIALS & TRADING PTE. LTD. seeks a detail-oriented M&E Coordinator to oversee all mechanical and electrical works for construction projects.

This role ensures M&E planning, installation, testing, and integration with architectural and structural elements, meeting project specs, safety, and timelines. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in M&E coordination, familiarity with local codes, and proficiency in reviewing drawings and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• 2–5 years of M&E coordination experience in construction.
• Knowledge of local codes and submission procedures (BCA, PUB, EMA, SCDF, NEA).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E works with consultants, subcontractors, clients, and the project team to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and submissions to identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and workmanship of M&E installations to ensure compliance with approved plans and standards.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, and clients on inspections, submissions, approvals, and technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
• Plan and manage M&E work schedules to align with the overall construction programme.
• Attend project, site, and coordination meetings to resolve clashes and interface issues between architectural, structural, and M&E works.
• Verify subcontractors’ progress claims, variation works, and reports related to M&E services.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover of M&E systems.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and coordination for Authority to Work and inspections where required.
