WEIMA BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an M&E Coordinator to supervise and coordinate MEP services on Singapore construction projects, ensuring timely completion, quality compliance, and effective stakeholder communication.

The role involves coordinating with clients and consultants, interpreting contracts, and ensuring drawings and method statements align with specifications. A degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of local experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Building Services or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on Singapore construction projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for MEP coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in supervising and coordinating all MEP services to meet project timelines.
• Communicate progress and coordinate work with clients and consultants to ensure alignment and issue resolution.
• Participate in progress, site, and MEP meetings to track status and address challenges.
• Interpret and apply main contracts and sub-contract requirements to guide project execution.
• Review and align mechanical and electrical design drawings to ensure compliance.
• Manage M&E sub-contractors by monitoring progress, reviewing drawings, approving materials, and overseeing method statements.
• Ensure M&E works are executed strictly according to approved specifications and drawings.
• Oversee timely completion of testing and commissioning activities to meet deadlines.
• Monitor and enforce high-quality workmanship on site.

• Review and align mechanical and electrical design drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and guidelines
• Manage M&E sub-contractors by monitoring work progress, reviewing drawings, approving materials and samples, and overseeing method statement submissions
• Ensure M&E works are executed strictly according to approved specifications and drawings
• Oversee timely completion of testing and commissioning activities to meet project deadlines
• Monitor and enforce high-quality workmanship standards on site
