Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a Deputy/Assistant Manager, Data Management, Bus Information Systems to help manage and deploy data for the fleet management system used in buses and depots. You will handle fleet schedules from PTOs and vendors and contribute to BI reporting and data governance.

The role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience, knowledge of Python/SQL, GIS tools, and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in AI and MI tools and Microsoft Office 365 applications (Co-pilot, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge in Python/SQL and GIS tools (OSM, QGIS or ArcGIS) would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication; service-oriented team player with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous and organized; open to developing new skills and technologies.

[What the role is]

[LTA-PT] DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, DATA MANAGEMENT, BUS INFORMATION SYSTEMS

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the team overseeing the management and deployment of data for the fleet management system on buses and in bus depots. This includes processing of fleet schedules from public transport operators (PTOs) and appointed vendors, business intelligence reporting and fleet data management to support operations and incidents investigations.

Besides engaging PTOs and system vendors, you will be involved in supporting Public Transport directorate or LTA initiatives or event, and performing other tasks as assigned.

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in knowledge on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Intelligence (MI) tools and Microsoft Office 365 applications such as Co-pilot, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in Python/SQL programming and/or open street map (OSM), QGIS or ArcGIS would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. A service-oriented team player with pleasant personality and can work well with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous and organised, with an eye for details, and open minded to develop new skillset and adopt new technologies.
• Resourceful, innovative, and adaptable to change.
