Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Deputy/Assistant Manager for Data Management within the Bus Information Systems team. You will oversee data handling, fleet schedules, BI reporting, and data governance to support operations and incident investigations.

You will engage PT operators and system vendors, contribute to Public Transport directorate initiatives, and assist in cross‑functional projects, with opportunities to apply AI/MI tools and GIS concepts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in knowledge on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Intelligence (MI) tools and Microsoft Office 365 applications such as Co-pilot, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in Python/SQL programming and/or open street map (OSM), QGIS or ArcGIS would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. A service-oriented team player with pleasant personality and can work well with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous and organised, with an eye for details, and open minded to develop new skillset and adopt new technologies.
• Resourceful, innovative, and adaptable to change.
• Candidates with no prior years of experience may apply.

What the role is

What you will be working on

You will be part of the team overseeing the management and deployment of data for the fleet management system on buses and in bus depots. This includes processing of fleet schedules from public transport operators (PTOs) and appointed vendors, business intelligence reporting and fleet data management to support operations and incidents investigations.

Besides engaging PTOs and system vendors, you will be involved in supporting Public Transport directorate or LTA initiatives or event, and performing other tasks as assigned.
