Job summary

Land Transport Authority in Singapore seeks a Deputy/Assistant Manager for Bus Information Systems to oversee information systems on buses and depots. You will audit, manage the Fleet Management System, and coordinate with PTOs and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

You will also support the Public Transport directorate or LTA initiatives, engage internal and external stakeholders, and perform other tasks as required. A proactive, detail-oriented team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AI/MI tools and Python/SQL programming is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Job description

What the role is:

[LTA-PT] DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS INFORMATION SYSTEMS

What you will be working on:

You will be part of the team overseeing the operation and management of information systems on buses and in bus depots. This includes conducting audits, management of the Fleet Management System, facilitating meetings, and provide support in overseeing of system operation and maintenance by PTOs and by appointed vendors.

Besides engaging PTOs and system vendors, you will be involved in supporting Public Transport directorate or LTA initiative or event and performing other tasks as assigned.

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Up-to-date knowledge on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Intelligence (MI) tools. Knowledge in Python/SQL programming would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. A service-oriented team player with pleasant personality and can work well with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous and organised, with an eye for details, and open minded to develop new skillset and adopt new technologies.
• Resourceful, innovative, and adaptable to change.
