Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Deputy/Assistant Manager to oversee Bus Information Systems. You will join the team responsible for operations and management of bus information systems across buses and bus depots.

You will audit systems, manage the Fleet Management System, facilitate meetings with PTOs and vendors, and support directorate initiatives and events, ensuring reliable system operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field; 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI/MI tools and programming in Python/SQL is a plus.

DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS INFORMATION SYSTEMS

What you will be working on

You will be part of the team overseeing the operation and management of information systems on buses and in bus depots. This includes conducting audits, management of the Fleet Management System, facilitating meetings, and provide support in overseeing of system operation and maintenance by PTOs and by appointed vendors.

Besides engaging PTOs and system vendors, you will be involved in supporting Public Transport directorate or LTA initiative or event and performing other tasks as assigned.

What we are looking for

• Knowledge in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Up-to-date knowledge on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Intelligence (MI) tools. Knowledge in Python/SQL programming would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. A service-oriented team player with pleasant personality and can work well with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous and organised, with an eye for details, and open minded to develop new skillset and adopt new technologies.
• Resourceful, innovative, and adaptable to change.
