Job summary

Lenovo PCCW Solutions Limited is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to monitor and optimize data center environments. The role covers Hyper-V, Windows/Linux servers, security hardening, backups, and cloud integration with AWS.

You will implement proactive monitoring and collaborate with product teams to resolve incidents. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience in data center infrastructure, CIS hardening, and ITIL processes, with strong networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience building/deploying data center infrastructure.
• Experience with Hyper-V cluster setup, vNIC and vSwitch configuration.
• Experience with CIS hardening on Windows Server 2022 Data Center and RHEL.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud.
• Experience with ITIL change and incident management processes.
• Good networking knowledge (IP addressing, routing, VLANs).

Troubleshoot incidents, apply hotfixes/patches, and coordinate with vendors/product teams for permanent resolutions

Create and maintain knowledge base documentation and operational runbooks

Implement proactive monitoring and alerting to prevent recurrence of issues

Identify and recommend opportunities for optimization, automation, and performance improvements

About you:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building and deploying data center infrastructure, working on Hyper-V, Windows Servers, REHL, CyberArk PAM and Veeam Data Backup products

Experience with Hyper-V cluster setup, vNIC, and vSwitch configuration

Experience with performing CIS hardening on Windows 2022 Data Center & REHL, GPO deployment

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)

Familiarity with ITIL change and incident management processes

Good knowledge of networking (IP addressing, routing, VLANs)

Knowledge of BMC Control-M is preferred

Knowledge of implementing firewall rules, support network switches is preferred

Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or ITIL Foundation v3/v4
