Job summary

LPS is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure professional in Singapore to monitor and optimize data center performance, manage incidents, and coordinate with vendors for permanent fixes. The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, runbook creation, and ongoing optimization across Hyper-V, Windows Server, and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, 3+ years of hands-on data center experience, and certifications such as Windows Server Hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience building and deploying data center infrastructure.
• Experience with Hyper-V cluster setup, vNIC and vSwitch configuration.
• Experience with CIS hardening on Windows 2022 Data Center and REHL, GPO deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Familiarity with ITIL change and incident management processes.
• Good knowledge of networking (IP addressing, routing, VLANs).
• Knowledge of BMC Control-M is preferred; knowledge of implementing firewall rules and network switches is preferred.
• Microsoft Certifications: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, or ITIL Foundation v3/v4.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, capacity, and error logs; fine-tune configurations as needed
• Troubleshoot incidents, apply hotfixes/patches, and coordinate with vendors/product teams for permanent resolutions
• Create and maintain knowledge base documentation and operational runbooks
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting to prevent recurrence of issues
• Identify and recommend opportunities for optimization, automation, and performance improvements
• Provide support for hardware and infrastructure issues escalated from the customer team
• Proactively identify and resolve performance issues
