Job summary

HERBERT SMITH FREEHILLS KRAMER LLP in Singapore is seeking an LPM Data Analyst to join our Asia team. You will deliver data-led insight, build Power BI dashboards, and support large, multi-jurisdictional matters with financial and operational reporting.

Reporting to senior LPM colleagues, you will cleanse matter data, monitor financial performance, and escalate anomalies. You will train stakeholders on approved tools and contribute to legal technology initiatives including automation and GenAI.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Law, Management, Finance, Business, Data/Analytics or related subject.
• 1–3 years’ relevant experience in a professional services environment.
• Strong analytical ability and financial acumen to interpret KPIs.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, IT literacy, and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Advanced Excel capability or proficiency with related advanced features.
• Basic Power BI capability or clear aptitude to develop it quickly.
• Ability to communicate complex issues succinctly.
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial and operational reports using Excel and Power BI.
• Create and maintain dashboards ensuring outputs are accurate and client-ready.
• Cleansing and checking matter data, monitoring finances, escalating risks or anomalies.
• Support repeatable reporting processes and automation initiatives involving AI.
• Deliver training and guidance on metrics and approved tools.
