You will support a major system revamp and cloud migration project within a fast-paced supply chain environment. This role will work closely with operations, technology teams and external vendors to support system implementation, data migration and ongoing technical operations.
Key Responsibilities
System Migration & Implementation
- Support UAT, testing and implementation of new microservices and SaaS solutions.
- Validate system functionality against business and operational requirements.
- Support data extraction, cleansing and mapping for migration from legacy systems to cloud platforms.
- Develop SOPs, technical documentation and process guides during the system transition.
Technical Operations & SQL
- Use SQL to extract operational data, generate reports and troubleshoot system/data discrepancies.
- Perform data integrity checks across transport and supply chain systems.
- Provide first-level technical support to operations and planning teams, resolving system and data issues.
System Development & Enhancement
- Participate across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) , including planning, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to ensure reliable releases.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and deliver system enhancements.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Work closely with technology, operations and supply chain teams to ensure system changes align with business requirements.
- Liaise with external vendors and SaaS providers on technical requirements, issues and implementation.
- Coordinate across multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of system initiatives.
- Research and adopt relevant technologies, tools and best practices.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics technology, transport management systems or supply chain analytics.
- Strong SQL skills, including joining tables and extracting data.
- Basic understanding of cloud, SaaS and microservices .
- Experience with TMS/WMS or supply chain systems such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle or proprietary platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines.
- Experience with full-stack applications and SDLC processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Self-motivated, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively across technical and business teams.
Good to Have
- Experience in route optimisation, TMS or delivery solutions .
- Knowledge of databases, message queues, caching, reporting and analytics tools.
- Cloud experience, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Datadog or Grafana.
- Understanding of system scalability, performance and reliability.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automated testing .
