Job summary

Gain City Logistics Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Logistics Director to lead our Supply Chain and Warehousing, overseeing inbound/outbound logistics, inventory, order fulfilment, and space utilisation, and to drive efficiency with technology.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics, leadership experience, 3PL knowledge, WMS/WES/ERP proficiency, Excel and Power BI, and the ability to work alternate Saturdays, with a focus on KPIs, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related discipline.
• At least 5 years in logistics, fleet management and vehicle leasing with minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of 3PL, warehouse operations and supply chain management.
• Proficient in automated warehousing solutions and systems (WMS, WES, ERP).
• Tech-savvy with strong Excel and Power BI skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making.
• Good knowledge of logistics laws, regulations, compliance and contracts.
• Experience with automated warehousing IT infrastructure and international trade is a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced industries (manufacturing, retail, e-commerce) preferred.
• Willing to work on alternate Saturdays.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics (Supply Chain and Warehousing) Director to lead our Supply Chain and Warehousing division, supporting the operational and commercial needs of the Gain City group of companies.

In this role, you will oversee end-to-end warehousing and delivery operations, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Beyond leading and optimising our warehousing operations, you will lead the adoption of technology to enhance operational performance and support business growth. You will play a critical part in driving process improvements, optimising resource utilisation, scaling operations and ensuring a seamless and consistent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, order fulfilment and space utilisation
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing logistics and warehousing operations team
• Develop and implement warehousing strategies aligned with operational goals and customer service standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers and third-party logistics partners to ensure smooth collaboration
• Establish and analyse clear KPIs to evaluate logistics effectiveness, identify areas for improvement and ensure
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, e-commerce, customer service and finance teams to align operations with broader business goals
• Ensure full compliance with government regulations, safety standards and internal SOPs

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, fleet management and vehicle leasing, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL), warehouse operations and supply chain management.
• Proficient in automated warehousing solutions and systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Tech-savvy, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis, performance monitoring, reporting and business insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, identify improvement opportunities and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and compliance requirements governing logistics, warehousing, fleet management and vehicle leasing.
• Familiarity with automated warehousing IT infrastructure, international trade and contract management would be an added advantage.
• Experience in fast-paced industries such as manufacturing, retail or e-commerce would be an advantage.
• Able to commit to working on alternate Saturdays.
