Job summary

SXW PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily warehouse activities, ensuring accurate inventory, timely deliveries, and safe practices in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching; allocate tasks to staff; monitor stock levels; and collaborate with transport and other departments to meet business needs while driving productivity and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and managing warehouse staff.
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse processes, and stock management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills applied in warehouse operations.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily operational challenges.
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems.
• Relevant logistics or supply chain qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and allocate duties to warehouse staff to maintain smooth and efficient daily workflows.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of goods in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Plan manpower, work schedules, and operational resources to align with business requirements and optimize productivity.
• Coordinate with transport, operations, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Monitor warehouse productivity metrics and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records, documentation, and reporting for operational transparency.
• Resolve operational issues and discrepancies related to stock or deliveries promptly and effectively.
