Job summary

JL GROUP ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate local and overseas shipments, arrange freight services, and liaise with suppliers and customers.

You will prepare shipping documents, verify HS codes, and keep accurate shipment records. This role requires coordinating delivery schedules, tracking status, and resolving issues promptly. Responsibilities include processing purchase requisitions and orders in the system, comparing quotes, and ensuring invoices align

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating local and overseas shipments.
• Ability to prepare and check shipping documents (BL, INVOICE, packing list).
• Liaison with suppliers, freight forwarders, couriers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate local and overseas shipments, including import and export deliveries.
• Arrange courier, air freight, sea freight and local transportation services.
• Book trailer and lorry crane for delivery, loading, unloading needs.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, couriers, transporters, customers and shipyards.
• Prepare shipping documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL and AWB.
• Provide shipment details like HS codes, item descriptions, quantities, values, dimensions and weights.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations and coordinate shipment bookings.
• Monitor shipments, track delivery status and resolve issues.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, site/shipyard requirements, transport and unloading.
• Maintain logistics documentation and shipment records; handle ad hoc tasks.
• Check invoices against quotations or agreed rates; process PRs and POs in the system.

Logistics, Shipment & Transportation Coordination

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate local and overseas shipments, including importand export deliveries.
• Arrange courier, air freight, sea freight and local transportation services.
• Arrange trailer and lorry crane bookings for delivery, loading, and unloading requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, couriers,transporters, customers and shipyards on shipment and delivery arrangements.
• Prepare and check shipping documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (BL) and Air Waybill (AWB).
• Provide and verify shipment details such as HS codes, item descriptions, quantities, values, dimensions and weights where required.
• Obtain and compare freight and transportation quotations and coordinate shipment bookings.
• Monitor and track shipments, follow up on delivery status, and resolve shipment or delivery issues.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, site/shipyard requirements, transportation and unloading arrangements.
• Maintain logistics documentation and shipment records, and handle other ad hoc logistics arrangements as required.
• Check freight, transportation and logistics-related invoices/charges against quotations or agreed rates.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in the system for logistics, freight and transportation services.
