Job summary

Algas Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Store & Inventory Controller to organise and manage materials, equipment and tools across projects. You will receive, verify and record all incoming items, ensure proper labelling and traceability, and issue materials to site teams based on approved requests.

Qualifications

• Experience in store, inventory control and materials handling.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate deliveries and stock checks.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic logistics documentation.
• Degree in any field (logistics related preferred but not necessary).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain organisation of materials, equipment, tools and items in the store.
• Receive, check and record incoming materials against DOs and Material Requests.
• Counter-check quantities and condition on receipt and before distribution.
• Ensure materials are labelled, stored and traceable.
• Issue materials to projects based on approved Material Requests.
• Maintain records of stock movement: goods received, issued, returned, transferred.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to management.
• Monitor stock levels and highlight replenishment needs.
• Minimise wastage and unnecessary stockholding.
• Maintain documentation for all store transactions (DO, MR, FO).
