Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily last-mile delivery operations to ensure parcels are delivered on time and partner SLAs are met.
• Manage, schedule, and deploy delivery drivers and walkers by allocating routes and coordinating ad-hoc deliveries.
• Track delivery performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as the main operational contact for client partners and conduct performance reviews.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise operations staff and delivery personnel.
• Enforce company policies and safety requirements among staff.
• Collaborate with admin and finance teams to maintain delivery records, support invoicing, manage rate cards, and prepare operational reports.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and operational incidents.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Manage vehicle and equipment allocation and coordinate maintenance.

Job Summary

Lead and manage daily last-mile delivery operations to ensure timely parcel delivery and partner SLA compliance. Oversee staff, optimize processes, and drive performance improvements to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily last-mile delivery operations to ensure parcels are delivered on time and partner SLAs are met
• Manage, schedule, and deploy delivery drivers and walkers by allocating routes and coordinating ad-hoc and rescue deliveries
• Track delivery performance indicators such as success rate, failed deliveries, returns, and productivity, and implement corrective actions
• Serve as the main operational contact for client partners, managing escalations and conducting performance reviews
• Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise operations staff and delivery personnel, including foreign workers
• Enforce company policies and safety requirements among staff to maintain compliance and operational safety
• Collaborate with admin and finance teams to maintain delivery records, support invoicing, manage rate cards, and prepare operational reports
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, lost or damaged parcels, and operational incidents
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage vehicle and equipment allocation and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness

Required competencies and certifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics or delivery operations, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse, multinational workforce effectively
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and delivery management or tracking systems
• Ability to work under pressure and manage peak periods such as major sales events and festive seasons
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as operational needs demand

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree qualification
• Experience in last-mile delivery, courier services, or e-commerce fulfilment
• Good knowledge of Singapore geography and delivery routes
• A Class 3 driving licence
