Job summary

KYEC SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage daily inbound and outbound activities, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate documentation.

You will coordinate transportation, prepare shipping documents, and update ERP/WMS records. This role requires 1–3 years in logistics and familiarity with Incoterms. Proactive problem solving, strong communication with internal teams and external partners, and a customer-service orientation are essential.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of logistics, shipping or supply chain ops experience.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, transport processes and customs procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Arrange transportation, schedule pickups/deliveries, and communicate with carriers.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (DOs, invoices, packing lists, customs docs).
  • Update all logistics transactions in ERP/WMS systems.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve delivery issues promptly.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments on logistics needs.
  • Track inventory movement and support periodic stock counts.
  • Review freight charges and coordinate billing; ensure cost accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards and regulatory reqs.
  • Support continuous improvement to boost logistics efficiency and service level.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, forwarders, and 3PL partners.
  • Prepare logistics reports (delivery performance, freight cost analysis).

Job description

Role Summary

The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and executing daily logistics operations, including shipment planning, transportation arrangements, documentation processing, and customer coordination. The role ensures on-time delivery, accurate record-keeping, compliance with requirements, and smooth communication across internal teams and external partners.

Role Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Arrange transportation, schedule pickups/deliveries, and communicate with carriers or freight forwarders.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents such as DOs, invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation.
  • Ensure all logistics transactions are updated accurately in ERP/WMS systems.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, or exceptions.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments (Warehouse, Purchasing, Customer Service, Production) on logistics requirements.
  • Track inventory movement and support monthly or periodic stock counts.
  • Review freight charges, coordinate billing matters, and ensure cost accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and service level.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, forwarders, and 3PL partners.
  • Prepare logistics-related reports such as delivery performance, freight cost analysis, and shipment tracking summaries.
Role Requirements
  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields preferred.
  • 1-3 years of working experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of shipping terms (Incoterms), transportation processes, and customs procedures is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
