Job summary

DSV CONTRACT LOGISTICS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Operations Assistant to understand and comply with operating processes. You will coordinate with customers and transporters on daily issues and plan orders to meet shipment delivery and collection needs.

The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong IT skills, and the ability to communicate effectively via email and phone. Training and growth opportunities are available in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• IT savy, able to communicate in email and phone calls.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply to all related operating processes.
• Co-ordinate and liaise with customers/ transporter on day to day issues, order planning to meet customer’s shipment delivery / collection requirements.
• Prepare data collection and submit accurate reports to the Operations Executive.
• Perform cycle count administration.
• Ensure all incoming shipments are completed in a timely and orderly manner.
• Ensure all shipment documentation are accurate and submitted timely.
• Perform process improvement initiatives and implementation.
• Report to the Operations Executive on all receiving non-conformances.
• Perform day-to-day roles of the Operations Executive during his/her absence.
