Job summary

Thales is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Singapore for a 2-year fixed term to coordinate daily shipments, manage inventory, and ensure compliant processing of shipping documentation. The role involves collaboration with production planners, freight forwarders, customers, and internal departments to support efficient warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Logistics or related field with at least 3 years of shipping/logistics experience and strong ERP knowledge.

Qualifications

Diploma in Logistics, SCM or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant shipping/logistics experience.
Good knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control and warehouse processes.
Experience coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail in shipping documents and invoices.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily shipment arrangements with production planners, freight forwarders and stakeholders.
Arrange daily/weekly flight bookings with freight forwarders.
Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays.
Ensure shipments comply with trade compliance policies and regulations.
Receive and process materials and ensure timely deliveries.
Perform goods receipts in the ERP system (standard, unplanned, drop shipments).
Validate shipping documents, invoices and declarations to ensure 100% accuracy.
Identify opportunities to improve shipping, receiving and warehouse processes.
