Job summary

Oceanhub Shipping Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a sales professional to drive freight forwarding sales targets and build a growing client base. You will plan and execute sales initiatives, handle inquiries, and coordinate with operations to resolve issues. A diploma and at least 1 year in freight forwarding are required.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma level or its equivalent.
• Min 1 year experience in Freight Forwarding.
• Able to secure new account/customers through cold callings & other contacts

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and achieve sales targets.
• Develop new business opportunities with clients.
• Responsible for sales revenue and expanding new account base.
• Attend to customer's enquiries/ feedback and follow up with after sales service.
• Act as the customers' main point of contact by liaising closely with the operations team to ensure that their queries, problems or issues are dealt with appropriately.
• Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting.
• Follow up with customers on payment collection.
• Aggressive, customer-focused & result-oriented.
• Proactive, self-motivated, highly independent as well as a good team player.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation & time management skills.
