Job summary

SAMSUNG SDS ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking an Ocean Freight Sales professional in Singapore to identify and drive new business opportunities.

You will engage potential clients with freight forwarding solutions, focusing on ocean freight, and work to meet monthly sales targets with incentive schemes. Collaborate with the Ocean Pricing team to secure competitive rates and space with carriers, and report weekly sales performance to Management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Business Admin, Transportation, Logistics, or related field.
• Advance level English; other language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive business growth with focus in Ocean freight forwarding in Singapore.
• Direct engagement with potential clients by providing ocean freight forwarding solutions.
• Achieve monthly sales target with incentive and profit sharing.

Position Summary

Job Description

To identify and drive business growth with focus in Ocean freight forwarding in Singapore

To achieve monthly sales target (we offer sales incentive and gross profit sharing scheme without capping)

Collaborate closely with Ocean Pricing team and keep abreast of the trends on rates of Ocean freight in order to secure highly competitive rate and space with carrier/ fleet

To report and present sales performance update to Management in weekly basis

Education

Diploma & above (major in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred)

English Advance Level, other language skill is a plus

Experience

Min 3 years' experience working in freight forwarding/ logistics industry

Willing to learn, proactive, carry winning mind set and strong determination in winning new accounts

Candidate who is currently working in a Global freight forwarding company are welcome to apply

Strong customer network connection in South East Asia and Australia is a plus

Good career progression employment history

Skills

Knowledge in overall logistics business (Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, Warehouse)

Able to work under pressure

Proficient in English and able to communicate well with all level

Good in problem solving and analytical skills
