Job summary

Beyondsoft International Singapore is seeking a Material Handler/Logistics Assistant to coordinate warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, stock checks, and inventory control. The role involves liaising with freight forwards and customers to ensure on-time delivery, maintaining accurate shipment records and tendering purchase requests.

A diploma in logistics with 2+ years’ experience is preferred. The candidate should be computer literate (MS Word/Excel/Outlook) and familiar with import/export

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics Management or relevant studies.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics Management and Inventory matters.
• Computer literate: MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook.
• Experience in analyzing and tracking expenses.
• Knowledge in shipping procedures and documentation for customs clearance.
• Good understanding of local and cross-border import/export rules and regulations will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate general warehouse operations and activities including shipping and receiving deliveries.
• Conduct stock checks and storing of inventory.
• Maintain good housekeeping of working areas and equipment.
• Liaise with freight forwards and customers to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy.
• Monitor inventory and schedule requisition of materials.
• Accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Record batch and serial numbers when required.
• Run periodic cycle counts and stock takes.
• Purchasing and liaison with suppliers.
• Plan & manage fulfilling contracts from Order Entry.
• Ensure PO validation, compliance & approval.

The Material Handler/Logistics Assistant is responsible for coordinating general warehouse operations and activities including shipping and receiving deliveries, conducting stock checks,and storing of inventory.

• Maintain good housekeeping of working areas and general maintenance of the equipment
• Liaising with freight forwards and customers, to ensure that testing materials are delivered on time and accurately
• Monitor inventory and schedule requisition of materials
• Accurate documentations of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Perform receiving of goods into the system and record batch and serial number when required
• Run periodic cycle count and stock take
• Purchasing and liaison with suppliers
• Plan & manage fulfilling contract from Order Entry
• Ensure PO validation, compliance & approval
