Job summary

KMS INDUSTRIAL (1997) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support daily warehouse operations in Singapore. You will coordinate shipments, track inventory, and liaise with customers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain processes.

The role requires basic computer skills (Excel/Word), strong communication, and the ability to work overtime as needed. You will contribute to accurate records, safe handling, and collaborative teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘N’/‘O’ Level, ITE, or equivalent educational qualification.
• Prior experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environments.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to facilitate effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
• Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented work approach.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to support business demands.
• Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Track and monitor inventory levels and stock movement to maintain optimal stock accuracy.
• Liaise with customers, transporters, and internal departments such as Customer Service, Quality Control, and Production to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of goods to maintain product quality and safety.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the system to support operational transparency.
• Support loading and unloading of goods to assist warehouse operations when required.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team to meet operational goals.
• Manage physical tasks including lifting and moving goods safely to support warehouse activities.
