Qualifications

• 3+ years in Linux system administration or similar infrastructure operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, esp. RHEL, incl. troubleshooting & performance monitoring.
• Exposure to scripting and config-management tools such as Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• ITIL Foundation and RHCSA certifications with good troubleshooting and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux server environments: installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, ongoing maintenance.
• Monitor system health, capacity and performance; troubleshoot to maintain service availability.
• Maintain configuration standards and automate recurring tasks.
• Apply patches, security updates and harden server controls.
• Support baselines, backups and recovery procedures for consistency.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, storage and security teams to resolve incidents.
• Use scripting/automation to improve efficiency and ops tasks.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks; participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
