Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to support reliability, performance and lifecycle management of enterprise Linux infrastructure in a managed services environment. You will manage day-to-day operations, monitor system health, apply patches, automate tasks and respond to incidents while maintaining runbooks and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux system administration or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on Linux experience, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux, with monitoring.
• Experience with Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet or Chef scripting/tools.
• ITIL Foundation and RHCSA certifications, with strong troubleshooting and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux server environments including installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues to ensure availability.
• Automate recurring tasks and maintain configuration standards.
• Apply patches, security updates and hardening controls across servers.
• Support baselines, backups and recovery procedures for consistency.
• Collaborate with infra, network, storage and security teams to resolve incidents.
• Use scripting/automation to improve operations and efficiency.
• Maintain runbooks and participate in after-hours support for critical incidents.
