Job summary

Tardis Group in Singapore seeks a hands-on Systems Engineer to design, build and support high-performance Linux servers across global datacenters. You will automate and tune systems to meet the demands of a low-latency trading platform, collaborating with engineers and external vendors.

You will analyse issues, deploy packages, optimise latency, and contribute to long-term infrastructure strategy while balancing production support with strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

The Role

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join the infrastructure engineering team in Singapore.

You will be responsible for designing, building and supporting high-performance Linux servers across global datacentres and offices. These systems are highly automated and finely tuned to meet the demands of a sophisticated global trading platform.

This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems, optimising system performance and working closely with engineers across the organisation.

Day-to-day:

• Analyse, diagnose and resolve complex Linux-based server issues
• Create, test, deploy and maintain packages, batch files and scripts within the operating system environment
• Identify opportunities to optimise infrastructure, reduce latency and improve efficiency
• Manage infrastructure configuration, changes and deployment requests
• Work closely with internal technology teams and external vendors to deliver effective technical solutions
• Contribute to long-term infrastructure strategy and capacity planning
• Support the ongoing reliability and performance of production infrastructure
• Balance day-to-day production support with longer-term infrastructure projects
