Job summary

Pacific International Lines Pte Ltd is seeking a Deputy General Manager to lead Liner Operations, overseeing vessel operations, stowage planning, scheduling and hazardous cargo bookings. You will drive fleet performance and service reliability across PIL’s global networks, implementing cost-saving initiatives and KPI reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maritime or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Experience: 10+ years in liner & marine operations with global container liner companies.
• Sea going experience with masters ticket is an advantage.
• Experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams managing vessel operations, stowage planning, scheduling and review of hazardous and special cargo bookings.
• Manage fleet performance and service reliability for PIL Long Haul, Short Sea, Subsidiary & consortium services.
• Minimize impact to service reliability and cost by managing service recovery and providing alternative options.
