Job summary

This role requires adherence to food safety standards, ability to work split shifts including weekends/public holidays, and strong teamwork and communication to support the culinary team in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
• Familiarity with sanitation standards and procedures.
• Willingness to perform split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in the absence of the cook.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standard recipes.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Ensure proper portion control and minimize food waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries.
