Job summary

Flavorworks Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a kitchen assistant to support chefs in daily cooking tasks and food preparation. You will handle ingredient prep, maintain clean workspaces, and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

Fresh graduates are welcome, and you will join a fast-paced culinary team focused on consistent food quality and presentation. Weekend and shift schedules may apply; training and mentorship are provided by experienced chefs.

Qualifications

Experience in kitchen is advantageous but fresh graduates are welcome.
Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standards.

Responsibilities

Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking according to recipes and standards.
Prepare ingredients including washing, cutting, portioning, and storing food items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
Support daily kitchen operations and work closely with the culinary team.
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation standards.
