Job summary

StaffKing Pte Ltd in Singapore invites applications for a Kitchen Assistant role at Sentosa's dynamic restaurant environment. You will assist with daily food preparation, support cooks, follow recipes and SOPs, and help maintain cleanliness and stock control.

Training will be provided and prior kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage. This full-time position requires a 5-day work week, including weekends and public holidays. Staff meals and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage; training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is preferred.
• Willing to learn cooking techniques and follow recipes and instructions.
• Responsible, cooperative and able to work effectively with the kitchen team.
• Willing to work 5 days per week, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation, including washing, cutting, portioning and basic cooking.
• Support cooks and chefs during daily kitchen operations and service periods.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes, kitchen standards and instructions.
• Assist with cooking and plating of dishes while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Maintain proper food storage, stock rotation and inventory levels.
• Keep kitchen equipment, workstations and preparation areas clean and organised.
• Follow food hygiene, workplace safety and kitchen SOPs.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing kitchen supplies.
• Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or Supervisor.
