Job summary

Liftron in Singapore seeks a diligent technician to maintain and service lifts, escalators and hydraulics. You will respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and help improve maintenance procedures.

The role may involve supervising junior staff and coordinating with suppliers on parts and equipment. The ideal candidate holds a NITEC in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, can work independently, and can communicate in Chinese for China-based clients.

Qualifications

• NITEC qualification or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Bilingual in Chinese to communicate with China clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance.
• Respond to breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults.
• Supervise engineering and technical staff.
• Create maintenance procedures.
• Manage stocks of suppliers and equipment.
• Perform maintenance, testing and/or repair services of lifts/escalators/hydraulics.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments such as technical support, training, assessments.

Skills and Qualifications

• Candidate should either possess a NITEC Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to work independently
• Able bilingual in Chinese (to communicate with China clients)
