Job summary

Liftron in Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician for lifts, escalators and hydraulic systems. You will plan and undertake scheduled maintenance, respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, supervise engineering and technical staff, create maintenance procedures, manage stock from suppliers and equipment, perform maintenance, testing and/or repair services, and handle ad-hoc assignments.

The candidate should have a NITEC in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering or

Qualifications

• Candidate should hold a NITEC Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Able to work independently.
• Able bilingual in Chinese (to communicate with China clients).

Responsibilities

• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
• Responding to breakdowns.
• Diagnosing faults.
• Supervising engineering and technical staff.
• Creating maintenance procedures.
• Managing stocks of suppliers and equipment.
• Perform maintenance, testing and/or repair services of lifts / escalators / hydraulics.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments, such as, technical support, training, assessments, etc.
• To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
