Job description

Responsibilities

• Understudy lift electronics manager and learn about lift repair electronics repair.
• Diagnose and repair faults in lift electronic systems, including control boards, wiring, communication modules.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevator electrical and electronic components.
• Interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to identify issues.
• Test and calibrate sensors, relays, drives, and safety devices, where required.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency/ cyclical repair requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve complex system faults.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records and technical reports.
• Support modernization and upgrade projects for existing lift systems, where necessary.
• Any other ad-hoc work assigned by manager/supervisor.
