Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Lifecycle Manager to support plant and OT infrastructure, including PCS and MOM/MES.

You will ensure reliability and lifecycle management while working with plant operations, vendors, and cybersecurity teams. The role requires strong Windows Server administration, virtualization expertise (Nutanix/VMware), and network troubleshooting skills, plus fluency in English and Mandarin for effective collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for OT infrastructure in PCS/MOM/MES
• Administer Windows Server environments, workstations, and endpoints
• Manage virtualization platforms including Nutanix and VMware
• Investigate and resolve TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network issues
• Support industrial networking and remote-site infrastructure for stable operations
• Coordinate with plant ops, vendors, and cybersecurity teams
• Lead incident resolution, problem investigations, and changes per ITSM
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Develop and update technical documentation and handover materials
• Ensure changes are implemented with minimal production impact
• Support lifecycle planning, maintenance, upgrades, patches, and tech refreshes

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lifecycle Manager to provide operational and technical support for plant and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure supporting Plant Control Systems (PCS) and Manufacturing Operations Management / Manufacturing Execution Systems (MOM/MES) environments. The role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and lifecycle management of critical plant infrastructure while working closely with plant operations, vendors, and cybersecurity teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for plant and OT infrastructure environments supporting PCS and MOM/MES platforms.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, workstations, and endpoint systems to maintain operational continuity.
• Manage and support virtualization platforms, including Nutanix and VMware environments.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switches, and related network components.
• Support industrial networking environments and remote-site infrastructure to ensure stable and secure plant operations.
• Coordinate with plant operations, vendors, and cybersecurity teams to resolve technical issues and implement infrastructure improvements.
• Lead and coordinate incident resolution, problem investigations, and infrastructure changes in accordance with operational requirements and established IT service management processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring incidents.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, operational procedures, system configurations, and handover materials.
• Ensure infrastructure changes are implemented in a controlled manner with minimal impact to production environments.
• Support infrastructure lifecycle planning, maintenance activities, upgrades, patching, and technology refresh initiatives for plant systems.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Professional proficiency in English and fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) to effectively support and communicate with Mandarin-speaking plant operations personnel, business users, and vendors in the course of work.
• Hands-on experience providing plant/OT infrastructure support within PCS and MOM/MES environments.
• Strong experience in Windows Server administration and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with virtualization technologies, particularly Nutanix and VMware .
• Good understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting industrial networking environments and remote production or plant sites.
• Strong knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including operations, vendors, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Excellent technical documentation, communication, and operational handover skills.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent understanding of IT service management practices.
