The Singapore Police Force, part of the MHA, invites applications for a Licensing and DIPS Officer in the Traffic Police. You will oversee licensing transactions, renewals and suspensions, and ensure compliance with the Road Traffic Act.

You will also apply RPA to streamline daily processes and support frontline operations at Traffic Police HQ. Successful candidates bring service-oriented mindset, strong communication, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

What the role is:

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime.As a Licensing and DIPS Officer in the Traffic Police, you play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of services which include the issuance, validity check, renewal and replacement of qualified Singapore driving licences, as well as managing transactions related to driver suspension under the Driver Improvement Points System (DIPS) and revocation/ disqualification of driving licences ordered by the Courts.If you are service-oriented and take pride in ensuring compliance with the Road Traffic Act and related regulations, we welcome you to be part of our team at Traffic Police.You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme

What you will be working on:

You will report to the Supervisor (Licensing & DIPS) and Head (Testing & Licensing) and be responsible for:

• Managing frontline customer service points at Traffic Police Headquarters
• Processing licensing transactions and ensuring prompt record updates
• Administering suspension and revocation of driving licences
• Administering Court disqualification of driving licences
• Processing renewal of driving licences for motorists in prescribed age group
• Processing reports of motorists who are diagnosed to be medically unfit to drive
• Acting as a subject matter expert for licensing policies and regulations under the Road Traffic Act
• Verifying and certifying invoices and billing matters relating to licensing operations and associated administrative services.
• Leveraging RPA (Robotic Process Automation) capabilities to streamline and automate routine administrative processes, enhancing operational efficiency in data management and transaction processing
