Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a temporary Library Materials Assistant to collect, sort, pack, and deliver library items. You will transfer packed items to roller cages, maintain packing records, and ensure accurate delivery orders. The role requires physical fitness and the ability to work well within a team.

Working hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, including weekends, for a 3-month period with potential extension; location is in Singapore. Shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer and IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
• Capable of handling and packing library materials with accuracy.
• Must work effectively in a team environment.
• Physically fit for manual handling of materials.

Responsibilities

• Collect and sort library materials according to the respective libraries.
• Prepare sorted materials for delivery, including transferring packed items to designated roller cages.
• Maintain records of packed library materials and roller cage serial numbers.
• Prepare Delivery Orders and ensure the correct number of roller cages are released to the transporter.
• Ensure safe and proper packing of library materials.
• Assist with general support work and other duties assigned by supervisors.
• Assist with transportation of materials when required.
• Sort and pack approximately 1,000 volumes of library materials per day.
